I became a member when I was told I had a stroke and brain tumour tonic clinic seizures are a pain in the arse, cant drive can't work can't shower alone. Must be supervised 24/7. No privacy at all... had my surgery 5 days ago and now on the mend back to building my future again.

Many wages are set by National standards, so the same everywhere. But many are set by the particular employer so vary accordingly.

South Australia charges for ambulances so cover is essential. Most private medical health only covers for one trip a year. Essential to buy ambulance cover separately. And I'm pretty sure the wages aren't as much as they are in QLD!

We used to have to all pay in QLD, but now it's covered. Yes, we are lucky. However other things are less here, like wages.....
