I have spoken to a scientist who has been to and stayed on the continental territory of the South Pole. He has told me that the earth does wobble a little on it's axis which does account for some of the different weather conditions.

Google "Glacier Girl". It is originally an F model, P-38 Lightning. It took 10 years and a number of recovery attempts, finally on the first of August 1992 the plane was recovered. Reading the whole story is very interesting, as I have built a plastic model of the plane.

Agree that the climate has been slowly changing since the year dot. And that people being the species that has changed their behavior most over the years are also affecting the planet.
