If you don’t believe in it, you’re lucky, you’ve never experienced it. Don’t make life more difficult for those who have by insinuating that it’s not real. Also, read the science.

Can't believe this is even a debate and that people have voted 'no' - it's a proven illness! The existence isn't in doubt. It's like asking if you 'believe' in asthma or cancer!

Thanks for your message Karen. No depression is not a nice disease at all I agree. I do hope that you have a support group that you can call on when you need it. Sometimes only to hear someone say RUOK. Take care and do know that there are people out there for you. B.

Thankyou braunhi, I have the support and had plenty of counselling, my depression is under control, still have bad days though, but you learn to live with it. Cheers.
