I run the operations of a logistics hub from my back door, since I own the land it’s on.
Run my accounting practice from my front room.
My online business from my spare room...phone...tablet.
My god. I never leave work... and never get out of the house....

My job doesn't allow me to wfh but don't enjoy having hubby doing so. Our place is too small; he's taken over the dining table and constant phone calls means interrupted tv and conversations, limited opportunity for noisy housework ie vacuuming, all in all a real pain! Have to admit though that money saved thru no commuting, eating at home and no dry cleaning is a bonus.

If you can work from home, you can work from Eastern Europe or India. Won’t employers enjoy that,!!1/3 the wage bill and no pesky union’s to worry about , no work place agreements ,no problems getting rid of underperforming staff Whoopee!!

The employees now supply the "office" and the computor and the phone and have no social interaction with fellow employees. No wonder employers love it.
But the lack of traffic having to commute is a plus to everyone.

I am more productive because I don't have people asking me all day how to do something, I don't have to listen to the EA that sits near me at work chatting all day, I don;t have to fight with other people to close blinds when the sun is reflecting on my screen, I can listen to MY music and I save two hours travel each day. Now if only I could go back to 5 days at home, not 2!
