Time and time again, I have been happily sailing along with the questions, and as soon as the age comes up, sorry we find you do not fit our demographic, or we have enough answers from people like yourself.......just makes me feel sick, throw us on the scrapheap now!
Happy New Year Diane. Thanks for the message and I couldn't agree more. I have the same but the worse for me is having spent 30 minutes on one only to have it said at the end sorry this has been filled. I can understand that some are for people with children however others are not. What gives really? It is almost that come a certain age one no longer has the capability to think. Take care and have a great ...See more »
I also find I am getting less surveys or getting screened out just because of my age. Don't they realise that with our experience that we are more reliable with our views then others. I hate it when i have gone through about 3/4 of the survey and then choose not to answer a particular question in the affirmative, that I get screened out and not paid.
I have noticed getting a few less surveys, but I am 69 and live in the country, which two facts often have me screened out really quickly. No matter, there are other surveys. I have also come across multiple survey offers that, when attempted, tell me I have already done them. I notify 'whoever' sent it that there has been an error because I have not, and occasionally they will re-send it.
Joyce I can be well into a survey, (you know if you have done it before) and after a long time sometimes, that will come up (you have done this one) just makes me so mad. When I ask the company why, they want the number of the survey!!! By this time I have "thrown it out the window" so to speak. Just a waste of our time.
Yes I do but I find that more surveys are for those with children or young adults in their family. It is not only surveys it is in the medical field as well. Honestly your annual checkups are sometimes not needed. In other words you no longer exist. lol.
Positive age is a big factor in completing surveys. Maybe companies assume that over 50's either are more cautions with their finances or have already been put out of work and are unlikely to be re-employed (a symptom of today's society).
I am getting a few less as I get a little older. Some subjects I get lots on = yes they are relevant to me and my lifestyle. Some I screen out quickly = no that is not me thing.
Lately, every second survey I try to do states I have already done it - which I haven't. two out of 5 surveys you complete, you don't get any points for - spent 43 minutes doing a survey for Hisense and didn't get the 250 points.
Fast becoming a waste of time.
I personally have complained about this exact problem on several occasions knowing full well I haven't completed a survey (I wish).
Unfortunately I keep getting the company standard answers telling me nothing !!
