Provided you have the willpower not to raid it - open your own bank account - put $5/week = 1 cuppa into it - $250/year - $2500/10 years - etc. Works for Christmas too.

No. I had a policy years ago. Then when another family member came along they hounded me for me for more money saying they suggested I had two?! ๐Ÿคฌ

DO a cost benefit analysis and it is VERY clear that this is a BIG WASTE of money. If you want put some aside in a separate account. The only one who benefits from funeral insurance is the insurance company. Don't be a sucker.

Yes I do. I do not want to be a burden on my family and have stated exactly what I want and the amount that it is covered for.

I don't understand why people bother with funeral insurance as it is a gross waste of money. You can go to almost any funeral director and prepay your funeral in instalments

I bought mine about 20yrs ago, thinking I would save my offspring the money, however it was a complete waste of time and money, its worth virtually nothing now, so the only answer I can see is a cardboard coffin, and no frills at all!!
