Do you or someone you know have Familial HyperCholestrolemia?

By Karen Mitchell . Created on 17 Dec, 2018
Familial HyperCholesterolemia is a genetic disorder. It makes the liver unable to remove LDL cholesterol(bad cholesterol) from the blood. People with FH have an increasingly high risk of heart disease. The gene is a dominant one and this means there is a 50/50 chance FH can be passed down to your children.
