some people are not keeping up with what is going on around them,,,, AI is everywhere and not only will there be no jobs, unless more people wake up....

yes!! even at the check outs in large food stores! It's hard enough the get kids working these days and checkout is a good first job or job for kids still in school, it's very rare to get served by a person these days!! An that's on a small scale

The country's income depends on mineral, livestock and crop exports, so not a lot of change. If we are talking job opportunities then there will be some impact but the people robots, autonomous cars etc. are killing in the US are slowing the integration rate.

People complain about robots taking jobs but how many of those people are willing to pay a thousand bucks for a handcrafted table compared to a machine made few hundred dollar Ikea product? We like our stuff cheap and the best way to cheapen a product is to make as many processes automated.
