Definitely too commercialized. I myself believe that a mother who is visited regularly by her grown children because they want to see her is more recognition and thanks for all she has done. Why should mothers day be celebrated on one day and just ignore the mother the entire year , mother is the only person no matter wot happens she never leaves her child even for a single day or moment.She must be loved and cared every single day and minute.

Everything is doubled in price, mass advertising, and really, we should not need a "special" day to be thankful for the love and support from our mum.. I just wish I still had mine.

Poor Anna Jervis died alone and destitute after spending her life lobbing the USA congress to get rid of her successfully lobbied Mother's Day. It is a very sad story about commercialisation
