We have an opportunity to utilise the vacant student housing national If people want to be homed, can't these these empty facilities? Here n Adelaide a 12 story student accommodation is under construction while other student housing remains empty. House the people, give them medical, financial and education skills if they need them so we can be proud of our national approach to this issue

The Australian Government does have alot of financial resources to put an end to homelessness by building more Public Housing, but for some reason this homelessnes issue is not 1 of there top priority.

It is a non-priority because the electorate does not care about the issue. As long as the LNP, or the ALP if in government, know that the electorate really don't give a damn, nothing will happen. Promises of illusory tax breaks for working people work every time, and always will as the top 1% pocket the wealth of the whole pathetic country.

In this modern age it is a sad situation that we have homeless people at all. It's a great shame on society and we could do much better. People are more important than money.
