I think he appears to squirm, or his body language is saying more. As a female it seems quite acceptable for some men to think it's "not that bad" or similar. As far as Police &/or the Court of Law goes, it's happened and passed. The punishment doesn't fit the crime as you're the one who has gone through the personal experience.
