The story about the Cartier Watches bonus gift was just a "smoke screen" The SACKING came about because she had tied up 3 of the major Banks for Australia Post to become sub agents for them. This is outside of their charter & they did NOT want another "snout in their trough". ?Who controls the government, The Banks , Who controlled the Bank royal Commission , The Banks

Definately treated badly, a SMALL blunder compared to the NBN Board. 80Million $'s in bonuses because they were able to meet the demand of AT HOME WORK. There would have been much less internet use during this time. If you are in an office, you have to at least look like you are working at home not so.

When I worked in business Petty Cash was used for out of pocket expenses such as fuel, postage, etc. not $20,000 watches or whatever. It was not cash to be spent as they saw fit. If she wanted to thank someone with her high salary she should have paid for them herself in my opinion. I know this type of thing has gone on for many years in all spheres of business and political areas but enough is enough.

She did no wrong, she was not caught out, this is the problem, it was open and above board. In the old days of running a business the fund, she had at her dis[osal for whatever was called petty cash. I think you guys are overreacting as is the PM. She has certainly done a good job at saving the PO from being sold off and wasting taxpayers money. Damned if you do a good job, damned when you don't. Some people ne...

If she truly needed to reward the very well paid staff members for doing their job and possibly for earning her a huge bonus then she should have put her hand in her own pocket rather than expect taxpayer's to pay for her excesses. To call the PM a bully for expressing an opinion shared by, I believe, the majority of taxpayers is a bit over the top. Of course she should have resigned. Do we need any more out of touc...

When politicians stop rorting the public purse, then our PM has the right to say that others who do should go. Until then......

Agree to an extent but she gets way more salary that Scott does and does very little for it.
