Have you ever donated your hair?

Your hair is given a second life and made into a great new wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a long-term medical condition – giving back the gift of confidence and self-esteem.

As a cancer survivor I have done the chrome bald head thing and wasn't at all self conscious about it; hair grows back!!

My son is growing his hair specifically for the shaving for cancer opportunity. The 'chop' will be next year in year 11...he's been growing it for 2 years now and its such a thick, healthy bunch of ringlet curls...someone is going to look like Shirley Temple as a brunette.

Both my daughter-in-law and granddaughter have donated much longer hair than mine - a #4!

As a male, my hair is basically too short anyway, though I'd donate my blonde ponytail I kept from the Nineties if it was wanted. Still in good nick, though it needs a straighten, as it was washed before the chop!

My hair is so thin and fine and doesn’t really grow, it couldn’t really use it.
