no, but I have thought about it when Ive not been medically diagnosed with anything, but not feel 100%, just feel a it under the weather and flat.

I have some serious health issues, so there are days that I genuinely have days I may not be able to go to work, so taking a sickie was not in my mind as I couldn't afford to lose any more wages than what I was. I do actually know someone who took a sickie & was at an event with friends, pictures taken by friends were posted to their FB page & tagged, the boss saw them, the next day they rock up to work...

Dishonest and stupid. What happens when you are genuinely sick and need that time and money, but you used it for the sake of doing so. Think "It will never happen to me" Yes I know that's what happens but it does happen to you. I have seen how perfectly healthy people can suddenly be unable to work and need those "sickies".
