Do you find that Doctors just write out a script for you instead of what caused you do be sick in the first place?

I have chronic pain and my doctor is always suggesting new methods to help manage my pain but she also knows I’m going to be needing scripts from now on for pain killers

I voted yes because I have worked with many doctors. It is so easy to just write the script for patients when they have been on a tablet for a long time. In my view if this occurs with me I change my doctor and have done several times over the years. I know doctors are busy but it is far too easy just to prescribe rather than go into the real reason why they are still needing their tablets or indeed what was th...

Anyone who voted y <br/>"yes" needs to go find themselves a decent Doctor. For goodness sake, are people happy with this type of service???? Doesn't say much for the intelligence of people who accept this treatment.

You're forgetting that not everyone has a choice to easily change Drs. There was only one bulk billing clinic that accepted new patients where I used to live in Melbourne. Trying to go to a new one was either costly or required travel, neither of which I wanted whilst sick. We are rather short on for doctors where I live. Just lucky that I have been with mine for 30years and that because I had he was willing to accept hubby when his doc retired.
