Yes it is essential and Yes I have had to perform it on a member of the public in a public place. She survived with no side effects.

I have observed the proceedure, and if no one better qualified was available, feel I would try to save someone in preference to letting them die, even if it ment risking getting sued.

This saddens me to respond in this way considering my husband had a heart attack 6 years ago at home. Mind you I would give it my best shot if I was put under pressure

I did a first aid course 10 years ago but that was a long time ago not sure I'd remember everything

It has been years since I did a St Johns first aid course. The ratio of compressions to breaths has changed since then I believe. Probably time to do a new one.

Yes I am if someone have accident And in dangerous I have to CPR
