Different shifts suit different lifestyles one of my friends works perm pm shift get kids off tp school, chores get everything ready dinner etc, then husband picks them up, feeds them etc they get both parents benefits.

It doesn't matter all shifts are ok BUT only work one shirft - constantly changing shifts is a killer. I worked am shift for 10 years then night shift for 4.5 and insisted on only doing one shift full time RN. My employers and I both happy and nil/very little sick leave etc.

I have heard that from many shift workers. Give me a shift and let me stick to it. Don;t change me back and forth.
