What was your reaction to the Christchurch NZ Mosque massacre

By Rhonda Tawhai . Created on 14 Apr, 2019
On the 15 March 2019 50 Men and children were gunned down to their death by a far right Australian extremist of Isamaphobia and white supremist views. These New Zealanders were in prayer at 2 mosques in Christchurch NZ. The prime minister of NZ Jacinda Ardern paid respect to the NZ muslim along with all of NZ by observing silence with a muslim prayer. Islam is practised by over 46,000 people or 1.2% of the NZ population and including native New Zealanders like Sonny Bill Williams the great All Black and boxer. Prime Minister Ardern called the incident an "act of extreme and unprecedented violence" on "one of New Zealand's darkest days"

Yes Len it’s a very sad world when 90% of world in starvation war and disease but we can start in our own back yard. NZ is my home & I think we did great job securing our lot against terror... as you know terrorism hits indiscriminately anywhere at any time... We only need to look at America and see the terror & destruction they enforce on other countries too... yes it’s very sad 😔

Growing up I had never heard of such a thing, now it seems the World has gone to the dogs, I have vowed never to visit the US as flak jackets should be given out at Immigration.
Cannot we treat our fellow humans with compassion and respect. By the way, guns are evil.

I dont need to learn about Paragraphs... did you understand the question? Communication is about understanding and being understood. That is more important.

My point exactly. A large block of text is very intimidating to many readers. It shifts the focus from understanding the message to "Oh dear, how am I going to follow all that writing?"

If a message is important, then it is also important that it is presented so that it can be understood. People who don't care about s...

horrified and distressed. I'm an aussie, I've been listening to the increasingly ugly right wing rhetoric coming from our politicians and media for years. I believe that we radicalised Tarrant, we exported terror to our nearest neighbours. It was just hideous. And for the rest of my life, I think I will cry when ever I hear the phrase "hello brother".

It was both. I was shocked and did cry. I thought that Jacinda Ardern was all that was stated. She is an obvious compassionate leader and related to the Muslim community very well and with a passion that you do not often see. This was not a passion that was false. I do think, after speaking to a lot of people, that it would be great to have PM like her here in Australia.
