I can see it growing as another form of non-cash payment and the tracking of payments is fine. But not perfect - scams still occur. I know someone who lost 120k in it.

Bitcoin is computor generated. It is worth lots now because it is hard to generate. Like the first cars were rare and expensive and exclusive. Look what happened there. Now almost everyone has a car and they are affordable (mostly) The TVs, computors and mobile phones were rare and exclusive. Anyone seeing a pattern here. Once the government allows payments to them to be made in bitcoin - or any other cryptocurrency - it will completely change everything. Think back decades ago, people probably said the same thing about credit cards "how can you pay important bills and things with money you don't even have?" or "how can you pay for anything without cold hard cash?" but now it's the most common form of currency exchange.

Accept that cards have to be paid back in real money. And you can't make your own (unless you are a sneaky crim) just because your tech is better than the other guys.

Too volatile and there are so many of these types of currencies now that Bitcoins time of exclusivity is over.
