I am in the unfortunate position that my 2nd wife has become friends with my 1st wife, guess their favourite topic of conversation?

Not until you’ve had space and moved on

I have been lucky. Time heals and sometimes you realize the friendship was the best part of the relationship and worth keeping.

Depends on how far away they live!!

All depends on how much hurt you have endured - I found I couldn't even look at my ex-partner, let alone attempt to be friends.

In my experience a lot of it has to do with respect. If you no longer respect them as a person because of things that have done or said then you can't be REAL friends with them. Maybe acquittances. This is a loaded question with a lot of variables. There's no black & white only a lot of grey here.

Sorry, but I’m going to have to go with the no department.
Don’t think ageing 10 years in 2 is good for my health

Many people have the ability to stay friends. But some just be too nasty for that to happen.

I can understand this, I've recently broken up with my partner and it hurts like hell but we have been friends since we were children and Im just hoping for the best honestly. Like he is a nice guy

Be strong. Sometimes ex's are the best friends we give to ourselves for the long run.
