Should a fine be given to the Australian Christian Churches for showing total disregard for Qld Covid Rules for NOT social distancing or wearing masks at the National Conference on the Gold Coast?

By Olivia . Created on 01 May, 2021
All Gold Coast business including many restaurants are following the COVID Rules of social distancing, mask wearing etc. Many Restaurants would love to fill to capacity but are unable due to the Covid Rules. Photos of this Conference held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre 20-22 April, which included the presence of our Prime Minister Scott Morrison was full to capacity and no masks wearing. People from all over Australia attended this Conference & they appeared to have little regard for the health of the people of Queensland & the Covid Rules.

I would hope that anyone who contracted Covid from such an event would not seek medical help, as they believe that they are above the rules and are protected by some supreme power.

Agree with Uriz <br/>"Only if you apply the same rules to indigenous and climate change protests" <br/>Stop the hypocrisy and inconsistency. <br/>Not to mention the "patronising" of these groups.

The same rules WERE applied to BLM and climate change protestors - many were arrested and organisers fined - and they showed more regard for restrictions than these idiots.
