This is a stupid question. Those with the knowledge and skills are the ones who should make the decisions for where and when to undertake hazard reduction. Shows how little you know and understand about the issues surrounding this massive problem. Suggest you do some research and at least speak with the local RFS.
Hazzard reduction burning should be done in cool months when it is not raining. Do not burn everything. Just nice wide strips that will direct the fires if they come, to the oceans or rivers where they will run out of fuel.
We always do when we can , but because of drought the last two years we have been unable to. You must realise Hazard reductions happens only when it is safe to do.Not just Willy Nilly .
