Should Organ Donor Families and Organ Recipients be able to meet if both parties agree

At the moment the Government does not allow Organ Donor Families to meet the Organ Recipients even if they both agree. We have been fighting for this change....

Unless you have lost a child and Donated their Organs for someone else to live.....you have no idea.....

Only if both agree. Some donor families are very happy for the donation to take place, but would be uncomfortable with the face to face gratitude. So making this OK without mutual consent could reduce the number of donors. Why make people uncomfortable for doing something good.

Seeing the benefit of organ donation would make the donor family feel better about their contribution. It wont bring back their loved one- but it will let them see that part of them lives on.
