As others have stated, rich is a relative term. As soon as somebody comes up with a tax system that everyone is happy with, another person will shoot holes in it.

Define “rich”. “Rich” is a relative term that has no meaning except in the perception of the person making the judgment. A single person and a family have very different ideas about their relative financial well-being. One may have the means for expensive chattels and holidays while the other struggles to provide for a basic existence.
I personally think the current tax system is ok as it is. We should be more concerned with those businesses that run at a loss, but deal in a lot of "cash". I'm sure most of us know of a business of this type.
A loop hole in the tax world would be a tax minimalization strategy. Or tax deference scheme.
Usually where corporations and those with high disposable incomes can dabble in.

You need to define 'Rich'. Many high income earners are 'Rich' in my eye and already pay more tax than most. In addition they also pay a higher rate of tax as mentioned by Toni. Is that fair? I agree with the companies comments below.
As others have said, close all of the loopholes used by anyone to avoid paying their fair share, also ensure that multinational companies pay full tax on all profits generated from doing business in Australia, tax cuts to the wealthy does not result in trickle down benefits..
