Apparently China is a little concerned, because purchasing of their manufactured goods is down. Well, that's what happens when everybody is locked up at home not shopping, and has no money to shop anyway, cause they are not working. Give the world a virus, and it will come back to bite you.

Without Chinese made products none of us would be on MyView in the first place =P. Boycotting China is not as easy as people think. Even if you buy a product that says Made in Australia it doesn't mean that parts of it weren't made in China. Unfortunately with how complicated some products are it is impossible to 100% manufacture anything in one country.

My computer was not made in China. Nor were the components. Son bought the components and assembled it, right here in WA. We paid the bills. Thanks super nerd.

If Labour gets in, they will bow to China. Kevin Rudd sold our deeds back to China after Johnny Howard bought them back from China. We have the best products so why do we have to bow down to them. Their prawns already gave 'white spots' to our fish in Queensland. That is why we can't feed oversea prawns (use for bait) to our fish. It is no good for the environment. Remember buy Australian!

We cant afford to bow to any other country. We as a smaller nation will get crushed.

Don't want anymore of their poisons. Search for alternative buyers for products, when they can't get enough food to feed their own overpopulated country, will beg to return to market. Then Charge double the going market rate.

Search for alternatives yes. China beg? I think not. Take by force if we close the market completely? I think so.

we really don't need china for anything we have the rest of the world to help us and we can help them in return e.g Australian made again with quality

China already owns some of Australia. A 100-year lease on Darwin harbour for one. The Government gave the OK for this to happen. But Australia can't own or lease anything in China. We must stand our ground and the Canberra mob have to dig their heels in and let China know we won't be bullied. We may have to pay a little more for some goods that are made in Australia but, we have to do this to tell China wh...

I have recently found out China owns 50% of Newcastle Harbour. That deal was done quietly. Very dissapointing to find out we don't have control of our own harbour.

The Government must stay strong and turn to other countries to deal with.
China is trying to take control of the Pacific nations and using bullying tactics to do so.
If we want our way of life into the future, we need to stand up now!
