I believe the only reason we have different traffic codes and regulations around driving licenses and vehicle registration is because of the way the various states and territories evolved from originally being colonies. Having one process that would cover all the states and territories would be very desirable. The various state departments could still be involved in the issue of driver licenses, vehicle registration...

well it is okay to have a national driving license since we live in the same country but i tink the pricing should be fair and low and not profiteering....like i think the govt should look at pricing only at cost and nothing else coz this is a service for all Australian citizens .alike ...Love thy own so we can all be drive happy ...
