But will there be any jobs here in Australia? May have to go live in China they're taking all of our jobs. Good luck young generation I feel for you the politicians do not! Or the rich! You may earn the title of lazy from the people sitting scoffing crayfish and caviar. Don't forget to buy their goods however that are made in China.

I started working after school at 13-14 and learn to save for the things I wanted. A sense of responsibility and independence. Not sure if it exists with a lot of kids today

I think its good for kids to get into the workforce early. Teaches them life skills and gives them a sense of independence and responsibility. They will get to a point where they may need to slow down (HSC etc) so anything they can do up till then is good for them and will ease off a little financial pressure on the parents also.

Both of my children got their 1st part time jobs at 15. Uni saw their first full time jobs arrive at very different intervals. But both now 25+ and working full time in the fields they studied.
While I also started my first parttime job at 15, and Hubby his apprenticeship within a month of his 15th B'day.

The younger the better so if I could enroll them in trials for Medical Experimentation when they where 30 seconds old I would consider this as good.

Even better if they killed them and I didn't have to have them bothering me for the rest of my life.

Kids today seem to wont more so believe they need to learn the value of saving for the things they wont( not need), also the feeling of being able to buy something for themselves
