The penalties were fair enough given the potential of serious injury and concussion

The punishment was far too excessive and the penalties will ruin the game.

It didn't go far enough, penalties need to be even more severe

Many of the incidents in league would result in a send off in union. League needs to advance to the current century rather than pander to the broadcast media requirement for “entertainment “. League commentators who push multiple reasons to excuse illegal conduct need to forget what it was like in their day and listen to the medical advice around acquired brain injury. Enough damage results from legal collisions wi...

Nrl is my favourite sport to watch, and it's always entertaining and I'd watch any game any day and wish people weren't so fixated on the fighting and hurting eachother on the field and people supporting that are silly and not understanding the real pain from some injuries related to the game and it's fair for a player to feel safe going onto the field to play a game. And it's still enjoyable 😁🙂

It’s getting boring to watch as too many stops on the game due to penalties etc

I agree with below that its getting boring stopping and starting all the time however if it saves a few lives then it needs to be added. if you read a little about concussions and what it does to your brain you would understand why the all the rules are in place. Plus if NRL didnt add rules we would be able to watch at all due to the safety concerns.

the game has become a boxing match with 22 fighters. All the rules and regulations have made it a very boring sport thats stops and starts and stops and starts, no consistency. If you want to make it safe play with all the garbage on like the Americans and then it will become even more boring.

It is ridiculous as there are no consistency around it. It is killing the game

Agree about the inconsistency but the game has survived for more than 100 years so there is doubt that it will be killed off. The utterly predictable nature of play has made for a boring spectacle. “Legal” cheating is rampant. Much of the contest has been removed to “improve “ the spectacle. The “six again” modification is simply a way of awarding a penalty without the kick for touch and/or tap to restart play.
The punishment was far too excessive and the penalties will ruin the game.

I can understand WHAT they are trying to do, but they have gone about it the wrong way. It is taking away from the game as a spectacle
