What would be the longest you would drive to work for the right job? Ie good family/life balance, enjoyable job, good pay.

Taking into consideration fuel, tolls but on the other hand great flexibility and room to grow within the company.

It would depend if it was a well paid job and I would have to love what I did. Petrol is expensive, then you would have the wear and tear on your vehicle

I live in a large regional country town and it takes 25 min to get from 1 end to the other inc the freeway through the middle. A short trip is a good trip. Home for lunch anyone???

If the commute gets too long, move closer to the workplace, even if just during the work days.

Agree however not everyone can afford to live closer to where they work or be able to stay close during the weekday.

It used to take me 2 hours each way to get to my job. I loved my job and even though I hated travelling so much, I would not have given up my job for travelling.
