In the fridge I have plastic containers for each child and for each school day. After shopping I fill each container with the kids snacks, fruit etc. so they can pack their lunch box each morning and know what snacks are for school and at home.

Have a checklist for my son and me! Ticking off items and actions really helps us get back into the routine of school mornings

On Sunday, make enough lunch for 3 days, then on wednesday make the next 2 days... and if you can a beautiful once a fortnight break, oops i mean lunch order :-) When healthier school snacks are on sale in the shop, if you're able to, try to buy enough for a few weeks until they come back out on sale again!

Make lunches the night before, to save rushing around in the morning.
And always keep a little cash in your wallet for those last minute expenses.
